The Drifter ( maeve, Permanent Vacation)
Chymera -Live- (Kompakt, Connaisseur Recordings, Ovum Recordings)
Patlac ( liebe*detail (Official), Villa Nova)

Chymera hails originally from Cork, Ireland and after spending time in Dublin, Costa Rica and Barcelona is currently based in Berlin, Germany. Throughout his teenage years he was heavily immersed in various forms of guitar based music. Around the turn of the century his ear was drawn towards sounds of a more electronic nature and he quickly started collecting records and learning how to DJ.
In 2002 he made his first steps into production and over the following years gradually honed his skills. His productions often fit comfortably in between house and techno, and range from deeper cuts to epic, big-room tracks, all with a keen sense of melody which has become a trademark of his productions. He had his first international releases in late 2006 which brought him to the attention of the wider world.
Since then he has released on various diverse and respected labels such as Delsin, Ovum, NRK, Cocoon, Figure, Komplex De Deep and Connaisseur who released his 2012 album “Death By Misadventure” which showcased a more introspective side: “Infusing chillout, classical, and dance, Death By Misadventure is an impassioned undertaking that pays off in spades.. …for folks who enjoy music with depth and vision” – Velanche.com
Equally comfortable DJing or performing live he plays regularly in many of the world’s top clubs throughout Asia, Australia, America and all over Europe.

The Drifter is Mark Flynn, an Irish producer, DJ and singer. He releases music on the labels Maeve and Permanent Vacation. His productions and DJ sets lean towards the hypnotic, melodic and emotive side of electronic music. His productions have seen him garner much attention this year with well received EP’s on both Maeve and Permanent Vacation, as well as his track, “We See Us” featured on Permanent Vacation’s “If This Is House Give Me Your Money Back” compilation. This progress is hardly surprising with people like James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem calling his 2012 debut E.P “really nice, gentle and strong.”
He runs the record label Maeve together with his two close friends, Mano Le Tough and Baikal. The label has quickly become one of the most exciting imprints around, not only releasing music from its founding members but also enlisting the skills of friends Matthew Dekay, Ripperton and Dixon to contribute to its success. Label showcases have become high in demand, with a summer tour that saw Maeve host parties at El Monasterio Barcelona, Trouw Amsterdam and Space Ibiza among others. More showcases are scheduled for the coming months at Berghain/Panorama Bar and BPM Festival.
With a quickly growing DJ schedule, 2014 has seen the Drifter play across Europe and beyond in the some of the world’s best clubs with his tracks becoming an ever more present feature in DJ sets from the likes of Dixon, Ame, and Tale of Us.
