10 JAHRE KANN DENN LIEBE SYNTHIE SEIN?
"In 2010 I did my first Party at the Uebel & Gefährlich Club in Hamburg. Then it went to the Golem for the next 6 years. We had insane nights there with amazing guests. It continued at Room II and Pudel Club. First I did it together with my dear friend Frank Ilgener, later I went on my own as the "brand" got so connected to my persona. Combined with my photo exhibition of analog synthesizers, the iconic photos that I did once for Groove Magazine I travelled to many beautiful places and did exhibitions with it. As a dj I grew and soon was followed by own productions in the analog Synthesizerstudio Hamburg under the name "Can Love Be Synth" together with Frank Husemann who owns it with Sunny Vollherbst.
This weekend we wanted to have a big celebration at Golden Pudel Club, celebrating these 10 years and my big bday. But things are very different now and I return we`re it all began .
Life is a circle. Thanks to the wonderful U&G crew I`m going to have a livestream with these DJ friends from Hamburg, it`s going to be a wild ride from italo disco, ebm, post punk, new wave to dark disco, early electronics & techno, proto house and such. STAY HAPPY & HEALTHY & SYNTH ON, Katja xx"
