Am Freitag, den 26. Mai, veranstalten wir, die African Students Organization University of Hamburg of Hamburg, eine Party, die die Vielfalt afrikanischer Kulturen zelebriert.
Kommt zur Togetherness in der Ponybar und erlebt eine Atmosphäre, als wenn alle Anwesenden Teil einer Familie sind, unabhängig von „Race“, Religionszugehörigkeit, Gender und Sexualität. Nerima Groove, Ben Kiizomba Craig, Dr. Knodel und Nu Cinema werden uns eine Auswahl von Feinstem AFROhouse, AFROtrap and AFRObeats kredenzen. Da kommt das Tanzbein sicher nicht zu kurz. On Friday the 26th of May we, the African Students Organization University of Hamburg, organize a party that celebrates the various cultures that come from the African continent.
Come to Togetherness at the Ponybar to experience an atmosphere where it is as if all the attendants are members of the same family, regardless of race, religion, gender or sexuality. A selection of the finest AFROhouse, AFROtrap and AFRObeats will be curated by Nerima Groove, Ben Kiizomba Craig, Dr. Knodel and Nu Cinema. A lot of dancing guaranteed. Don’t miss it!

Nerima Groove
Geboren und aufgewachsen in Hamburg, Nerima Groove, ist schon seit laengerem eine Dj-Groesse in Hamburg. Ihre Musik reicht von Dancehall ueber HipHop bishin zu Azonto. Fuer den heutigen Abend spielt sie eine feine Auswahl von Afrobeats.
Born and raised in Hamburg, Nerima Groove, also known as Nerima, has been in the DJ-scene for a while now. An early pioneer of Afrobeats in Hamburg, her musical palette ranges from Dancehall to Hip Hop to Azonto. This evening she will play us a selection of the finest Afrobeats.
DJ Ben Kiizomba Craig
Dj Ben Kiizomba Craig kommt aus London aber lebte bedingt durch seinen Ghanaischer Vater, der als Diplomat arbeitete schon vielerorts. Und gernau das kann man auch in seiner Musik hoeren, zu den musikalischen Einfluesse gehoeren Afrohouse, Kiizomba, Zouk wie auch Salsa. Fuer unseren Abend spielt er wunderbaren Afrohouse.
DJ Ben Kiizomba Craig comes from London but went on to live a nomadic lifestyle due to his Ghanaian father being a diplomat. Living in so many different places had an influence on his musical development as he plays Afrohouse, Kiizomba, Zouk and Salsa. This evening Ben will provide us with the finest Afrohouse.

Dr. Knodel
Vornehmlich als Beatmaker im Hip-Hop wagt Dr. Knodel mit MPC und Plattenteller im Gepäck die Reise in neue Genres. In seinem selbst ernannten "Highlife House" vereint er westafrikanische Folklore mit Kick-Drum-Snare aus Roland 808s Soundbanken und erhöht das tanzbare Tempo. Für den heutigen Abend hören wir neue, spannende Produktionen.
Mostly a hip hop beatmaker, Dr. Knodel explores new terrorities with his MPC and turntable. In his self-named ''Highlife House", he mixes west African Folklore with Kick-Drum-Snare rhythms from a Roland 808 and increases the danceable tempo. This evening he will play us some of his new, exciting production.
