The collaborative club night returns with another internationally acclaimed invite, delving further into the scope of progressive club sound. Looking forward to leaving behind the all too stubborn categorisations for something that thrives in the thresholds: Welcome to the genome.
KiloVee (DJ)
Kilo-Vee began his DJ career at The Shelter (Shanghai) in 2016 and since the legendary underground music stronghold has ceased to exist, he's been traveling around the city's wider nightscape with a gradually stabilizing solo style, absorbing and refining new fusions and splices. Being part of the Genome 6.66Mbp, his embrace of club, experimental, grime and more has allowed his work to render a variety of atmospheres to satisfy bobbing heads at parties and churning eardrums under headphones.
His DJ Set on the first floor of Berghain was described by FACT magazine as "not a deconstruction of anything, but a re-creation of an inspiring atmosphere out of the shackles of traditional music genres."
Rui Ho (DJ)
Chinese born Rui Ho has been based in Paris, Berlin and is now hovering between Shanghai and Berlin. They have been making buzz with heavy and playful DJ sets throughout the European experimental underground scene as well as in China. After releasing a series of EPs on Genome 6.66Mbp and Objects Ltd, their debut album Lov3 & L1ght was released on UK label Planet Mu.
Rui Ho has quickly integrated into various cutting-edge creative scenes, becoming the darling of underground culture, fashion shows and media, and also the most exploratory, recognisable and internationally influential transgender music producer, DJ and singer in Asia.
Crusat (DJ) & hyperfux (DJ)
Representing ZANGE and BEEK respectively, Crusat and Hyperfux will be in charge of framing the night. They are passionate diggers of exceptional musical chops from the internet deepest pits and they're gonna play them out loud.
