DE Die dritte Ausgabe des Clubformates zur Erkundung arabischer Technokulturen schlägt dieses Mal die musikalische Brücke zum Bosporus. In den meisten arabischen Ländern ist Techno und Elektronische Musik immer noch ein absolutes Underground-Phänomen. Hedonismus, Party, Drogen... all das ist den Ordnungshütern ein Dorn im Auge. Wer noch nie an einem heimlichen Rave in der Wüste teilgenommen hat, kriegt im Kampnagel-Club zumindest einen musikalischen Eindruck, wenn auch ohne Sand in den Schuhen. Das musikalische Spektrum umfasst diverse Stile und Genres von »Arab Trap« zu »Oriental House«. Der Name der neuen Party-Reihe ist bereits eine Hommage an hybride Formen: Dabke heißt der traditionelle Folkloretanz – Dub-ke ist dessen technoide Überscheibung.
EN The third edition of the club format for exploring Arab techno cultures is this time building a musical bridge to the Bosporus. In most Arab countries techno and electronic music is still an absolute underground phenomenon. Hedonism, party, drugs... all this is a thorn in the side of the law enforcement officers. Anyone who has never taken part in a secret rave in the desert gets at least a musical impression in the Kampnagel Club, even if without sand in their shoes. The musical spectrum covers various styles and genres from "Arab Trap" to "Oriental House". The name of the new party series is already a homage to hybrid forms: Dabke is the name of the traditional folklore dance - Dub-ke is its technoid overlay.
