The subtle and meditative soundscapes of Gigi Masin, director and music producer and one of the pioneers of ambient since the early 70s, have since been taken up by To Rococo Rot, Moomin and Björk among others. His album, “Wind,” (1986) is now a soughtafter rarity and his new collaboration with the musician Jonny Nash and the DJ and music producer Young Marco, “Gaussian Curve,” has a similar sensuous and calm concept

Der subtilen meditativen Klangflächen des Regisseurs und Musikproduzenten Gigi Masin haben sich neben To Rococo Rot und Moomin auch Björk u.a. bedient. Seit den 70er Jahren gilt er als Pionier des Ambient, sein Album „Wind“ (1986) ist mittlerweile eine gesuchte Rarität. Sein neues Projekt „Gaussian Curve“ mit dem Musiker Jonny Nash und dem DJ und Musikproduzenten Young Marco verfolgt ein ähnlich sinnliches, unaufgeregtes Konzept.
