As the year draws to a close, Torture the Artist returns to Haus73 in Hamburg for the sixth and final

edition of eDEMi in 2025. After hosting standout nights with French connoisseur Dawidu,

Horsemen, J6 & Filippo MSM, and Cat Curl, the December edition welcomes one of the most

exciting and talked-about artists of the moment: Ballan.

Fresh off the release of his long-anticipated EP Different Shapes / Euro Mess on Alec Falconers

irresistible label SUNNY - the third outing under the Ba Dum Tish umbrella - Ballan arrives at

Haus73 during a defining moment in his rapidly rising career. Known for his playful studio

approach driven by spontaneity and instinct rather than over-polishing, Ballans music captures a

unique blend of electro grit, UK-garage swing, and house energy rooted in happy accidents and

the pure joy of creation. With further releases already lined up, including an upcoming EP on DJ

Cosworths Hardline, he continues to cement his position as one of the freshest voices shaping

contemporary club culture.

Supporting Ballan in the Anbau is none other than Holger Breuer - head of Torture the Artist,

respected DJ, curator, and the driving force behind the platform. A devoted vinyl enthusiast with an

extensive and carefully built collection, Holger is widely regarded as one of the most refined

selectors shaping the scene from behind the curtain. His style is a deeply personal mixture of UK

Garage, UK-Minimal, House, Breaks and the unmistakable funkiness rooted in the French House

tradition, forming sets that combine narrative ambition with groove-driven precision and rare-cut

elegance. Holgers role extends far beyond the booth: he is the heart and brain of Torture the Artist,

quietly pulling the strings and curating with absolute passion.

Before the main event takes over the Anbau, the festivities begin much earlier in the Salon of

Haus73 from 4:30 PM, building momentum with four recorded warm-up sets. Alongside Ballan and

Holger Breuer, two Hamburg-based talents shape the evening: beccs - already a local scene

mainstay and regular at Golden Pudel Club - and G-Lamour, the House G himself. Active across

the city through Cant Stop, the RAL6004 collective and as one half of Love Defender, G-Lamour

brings a fast-paced mixture of House, Speed House and UK-infused energy.

Expect a night driven by some of the freshest artists and most carefully refined selectors, closing the

year in true Torture the Artist fashion: dedicated, forward-thinking, and uncompromising.
