Kasper Marott's ear for the percussive elements of music is of a rare kind. It is expressed in his productions, of course especially in the all- percussion project Tandoori, but also in his DJ-sets where his way of sliding easily between genres is care-free, but drum-heavy.

Whether the musicality or the muscular groove is at the forefront, the young DJ traverses the ever-evolving genre definitions with ease. Gently taking the listener through his musical universe over the course of a night is one of his specialities. The affection as well as the talent for this most likely stems from his love of music that spans all the way from greek new age to Underground Resistance. He can play the opening hours of Berghain as ably as he can play peak hours at About:Blank or Concrete. Kasper Marott's aesthetics when it comes to sound is a vivid characteristic whenever you listen to one of his productions or are taken through his ever growing record collection.

After the first three heavyweight techno EPs, Kasper Marott is taking Seilscheibenpfeiler on a trip to the housy spheres of dance music.

There’s no doubt that on this EP there is this one track that wont leave your head: „Keflavik“ is an 8 minutes journey perfected for its use on sweaty, vibrant house floors during peak time sets.
However, producing disco-hits is in no way the limit for the young producer from Copenhagen. As shown on the B side with „Megatu“ and „Microworld“, he is mastering more than one style: Both tracks being nothing less than high-end percussion works, completed with just the right amount of floating synth and bass lines.

No doubt that efforts will be made to have him show his darker side for an additional EP on SSPB …
