We have been working on this for quite a while and are now really happy to announce our first blechsonne event in Hamburg on March 28th!! Looking forward to see many familiar faces <3

blechsonne festival returns in 2026 for its fourth edition. Just two hours from Berlin, the festival brings together around 2,000 people for four days and nights of forward-leaning guitar music, experimental pop and club-rooted sounds, drawing on indie, shoegaze and contemporary scenes, all grounded in a strong sense of DIY-community.
Founded by a group of music-loving friends who started out organising small, unauthorised shows, blechsonne has grown into a festival dedicated to forward-thinking programming at the intersection of live and electronic music, spotlighting projects that often fly under the radar. Diversity and representation are considered an integral part of the festival’s curation.

Although feeling most at home with house music, Nico aka DJ Flash loves to dive into different genres, building sets that span a large range of styles focused on storytelling, emotional depth & intensity through seamless, energetic mixing and purposeful selection. He hosts his own listening event & party series @________ncm, where - together with his good friends & co organizers - he holds listening sessions at @locke20359 that would continue into parties at the legendary @pudel_com. Opening for blechsonne this time, he will focus on spherical ambient, ebm & trip hop sounds to set the tone for the rest of the night & allow for a smooth welcome.

Sardine is a young band founded and based in Hamburg. It’s active since early 2025 and formed out of 5 friends playing drums, guitar, bass and saxophone. A mixture of bluesy and jazzy tunes combined with funk and rock beats, paired with lower german vocals add up to a new sound the band itself just describes as „Plattrock“.

LUKI LOOP, based in Leipzig, is the luminous glitch in pop music’s binary code. LUKI hacks this code with genrequeer wave pop: punk at heart, pop in the head. It’s where socio-critical bite meets performative excess - a room-filling presence that first shakes you up, then holds you tight. Welcome to the LOOP.

DIA is a DJ based in Frankfurt am Main. Her sound is an electronic blend that pulls from groovy and soulful, deep and minimal house, as well as lots of tech & baile funk. Her sets are fun, jumpy and uplifting, because she considers dancefloors holy spaces, where DJs and dancers connect through and within music. It is all about being present, so please keep your phones away, enjoy yourself and make friends on the dancefloor!

SCHWESTA! - is when two girls from across the globe share a womb. It's when transsexual sound meets transexual ears (also open to cis ears). It's when fun is SO back. Having met in the contexts of Ballroom and Art-Studies aswell as coming from very different parts of the world, Cielo.MP3 and Nikitastern represent the perfect blend of the contemporary and multimedia-based queer youth. SCHWESTA! will be playing whatever needs to be played at that time and place. From Guaracha, to 90's Electronic, to Hyperpop, to Ballroom, our usb's are LOADED! Brace yourself (and bring fire extinguishers!!!) because SCHWESTA! will be bringing the heat!
