Somnambul - 15. Jubiläum
Der Somnambulist, auch Schlafwandler genannt, ist ein faszinierendes Wesen. Seine Füße bewegen sich auf der Erde, aber im Kopf ist er Lichtjahre vom harten Boden der Tatsachen entfernt. Mit verträumtem Grinsen tänzelt er durch eine sorgenfreie Traumwelt. Aber schläft der Somnambulist wirklich? Oder ist er wach, aufgewacht aus dem Alltag?
Am 1. November wird es in Hamburg zu Schlafwandlerei in noch nie dagewesenem Ausmaß kommen. Denn zu ihrem 15. Jubiläum zieht die Somnambul alle Register und bietet mehr Platz als je zuvor - sogar über den Dächern der Hansestadt! Insgesamt 4 verschiedene Bereiche bieten abwechslungsreiche und kurzweilige Inspiration: Manche Schlafwandler tänzeln im Takt schneller Rhythmen und zum Klang tiefenpsychedelischer Klangmuster. Andere hüpfen munter zu Offbeat und steigern sich in progressive Extase. Dann sind da die Somnambulisten, die von wechselnden Groove-Impulsen angetrieben werden – oder jene, die sich zu chillig-entspannten Sounds räkeln. Veredelt wird das traumhafte Hörvergnügen durch den Klang von Funktion One Anlagen auf allen Hauptfloors. Vier erfahrene Deko-Teams und eine mächtige Lasershow sorgen für angenehm realitätsfernes Ambiente.
Du kannst innerhalb kürzester Zeit selbst zum Schlafwandler werden. Es gibt nämlich 3 verschiedene Wege ins Reich der Somnambul, 3 verschiedene Eingänge ins Edelfettwerk. Denn Warten ist nicht gerade traumhaft! Nass geregnet werden auch nicht. Darum wird es dank einem neuen Verbindungsgang möglich sein, auch bei schlechtem Wetter entspannt vom Hauptgebäude ins „Labor“ zu schlendern. Bei gutem Wetter können sich die Gäste der Somnambul außerdem auf der großen Dachterrasse tummeln.
Der Traum ist aus – aber du nimmst ihn mit nach Haus: Die Somnambul ist und bleibt „die Party mit der CD“. Denn die ersten 500 Gäste bekommen auch in diesem Jahr einen ganz speziellen Silberling geschenkt – ein groovig-psychedelisches Souvenir und begehrtes Sammlerstück!

Somnambulists, also known as sleepwalkers, are fascinating creatures. They walk on firm ground, but inside their mind they are light years away from planet Earth. With a mischievous smile on their lips they skip through a dream world. But are somnambulists really asleep? Or are they wide awake, awoken from the nightmare of everyday life?
On 1st November you have the opportunity to witness a fascinating case of mass-sleepwalking. Why? Because on this date Somnambul celebrates its 15th anniversary and presents more dream space than ever before – even over the roofs of Hamburg city! A great variety of rhythmic, melodic and optical inspiration unfolds on 4 different floors. Some sleepwalkers move their feet to the sound of fast, driving deeply psychedelic sounds. Others follow skippy offbeat rhythms to reach the realm of Progressive ecstasy. Then again there are somnambulists who love an ever changing pattern of grooves – or those who prefer to kick back and to let themselves go to Chill Out tunes. This multi-layered dream of sound comes from Funktion One speakers on all floors. Four decoration teams join forces to create a maximum of spaced-out ambience at Somnambul, additionally there’ll be an orgiastic laser show.
Within no time, you might become a sleepwalker yourself. Somnambul has 3 different entries, so you get straight in the middle of the dance floor without a long wait. Hands down: Waiting is not exactly what we dream of! The same goes for getting drenched by cold rain, and for this reason there will be a new corridor between the main building and the “laboratory” that enables you to explore the different floors even if it’s pouring down. If the weather is fine, and of course we hope so, visitors of Somnambul can also mingle on the large rooftop terrace.
The dream is over – yet it goes on and on: Somnambul is well-known as “the party with the CD”. The first 500 guests will be given a very special welcome present – a shiny disc full of groovy, psychedelic music. A great souvenir and a much sought-after collector’s item!
