While Technophile – AKA Nabih Esta, the man behind Beirut ex-duo Ronin & Nesta – lives up to his tech-loving name, his roots lie in the twisted, melodic haze of psychedelic and progressive rock bands. With Pink Floyd, Eloy & Porcupine Tree at the forefront of his collection, and with a family of drummers spurring him on, Nabih fell head over heels into the club scene in his teens, discovering Global Underground at 13, and defining DJs like Anthony Pappa, Danny Tenaglia, Lee Burridge and James Lavelle.

And it’s this melding of musical matter that defines Technophile's unique sound: cutting edge dance music imbued with a dark, sexy, experimental groove. Don’t just take our word for it though - Italy's Indepth Music, Mexico's Blaq records and London's Smiley Fingers Records have all signed forthcoming tracks, with more in the pipeline.

This is just the latest chapter in the ever-evolvin Nesta story: He became a brand ambassador for Dance4Life alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk etc. and travelled the world to play in festivals like Off-Sonar (Barcelona), Creamfields, SANDANCE & Paris's own Technoparade while hosting also a weekly radioshow on NRJ and Mixfm Lebanon for 10 years. Alongside that, Nesta/Technophile has opened and closed for house music legends including Carl Cox, John Digweed, Craig Richards, Dixon, David August, Ryan Curtiss, Ryan Crosson, Damian Lazarus, Wehbba, Christian Smith Marco Carola, Sasha, Magda, Marc Houle, Dubfire, Francesco Farfa, Gunnar Stiller and has also played for Circoloco, Cocoon, Supernature, Bedrock, Cadenza and FACT.

In 2013, Nabih was part of the launching of Beirut top-notch clubs Uberhaus & The
Gärten. Besides being a partner in the club, he landed a steady residency there
also. www.facebook.com/uberhausclub

In 2014, Nabih launched Fantôme de Nuit Records, releasing on Vinyl and Digital
and have already gathered the top artists in it!

in 2015, Nabih collaborated on 6 oriental tracks with Jakob Seidensticker &
Henrik Raabe (aka Wareika) to be released in 2016.

But it’s in his newly built, fully equipped studio that you’ll find him most
at home, using past influences to create a brand new energetic, warped house
groove.
