For one evening, Hamburg art and club-music collective The Press Group and TISSUE Magazine are installing the Bar Joy at Kampnagel. Producer, multi-instrumentalist and theater musician Rupert Marnie will perform his »Serata Al Bar Joy« for the first time, supported by a band that has been specially formed for this purpose. The music, which has been released as a mixtape, is shaped by Italy disco influences as well as by Balearic and other genres, and is dedicated to the vibraslap, an instrument primarily known in Latin America.
