Reproduce(future). Digitaler Kapitalismus und kommunistische Wette / digital capitalism and the communist wager ...
ums Ganze! Kongress #4 | techno.umsganze.org

Eröffnung/Opening
With: Inga Copeland and Born In Flamez
Support: David Mohn (NOYZ R UZ)

To win a future, which is not merely the endless repetition of the present, it is not enough trying to live differently, to work differently, to think differently. We have to learn to change the ways we feel, wish and dream. For this learning, unlearning is necessary as well.
For the opening of its fourth conference, the communist alliance …ums Ganze! invites you to the Rote Flora for an evening of music and movement.

Inga Copeland (Lolina) is a producer and performer of electronic music. Following her work as a founding ex-member of Hype Williams, she has continued with solo projects and ongoing collaborations, including a recent 7” release with John T. Gast (copeland & gast—“Sisters of Control/Version”, All Bone, 2016). Her self-released albums and EPs build on the initial foundations of the lo-fi and discordant qualities of her earliest output. The latest releases as Lolina, “RELAXIN’ with Lolina” (2015) and “Live in Paris” (2016), propose further developments to her work with digital production, minimalist composition and repetitive vocal arrangements. Lolina’s live show is a continuation of this attempt to discover possibilities for experimentation within the adopted limitations of electronic music and the contexts for its performance.

Born In Flamez is a transhuman experiment, shirking notions of identity, s/he subverts gender and genre with a panoply of influences somewhere in the nether regions between noise, grime, industrial pop, and future electronics.
