This year, P/ART Producers Artfair expands its framework program in terms of content and duration. Already prior to the fair (Kraftwerk Bille from 24th till 27th of September) P/ART and GOLEM host an event dealing with noise. A journey exploring the edge of art and sound. Booty Carrell, anonymer Türkoholiker und Outernational Deejay Gigolo lädt ein zu was eigentlich? Zu populisitscher Wissenschaft. Carrell spielt vinylarchäologische Ausgrabungen von fünf Kontinenten und setzt sie derart gefühlvoll zusammen, dass sie zu Nachbarschaftsmusik werden. Kein Wunder, ist »Making Global Sound Local« der Werbespruch seiner DJ Crew B-Music. Es drehen sich Schallplatten aus der Türkei, dem Iran und Israel, aus Indien, Pakistan, aber auch Frankreich und Süddoyçland. Carrell ist bekennender Abonnent des »Peter-Moosleitner-Magazins«. Der größte türkische DJ aller Zeiten Kabus Kerim nennt ihn »Alman Kanake« und DJ Koze findet »tatsächlich jedes Stück geil«. Seit Jahren bringt Booty Carrell die zweite Welle musikalischer Globalisierung erfolgreich auf Europas Tanzflächen und berät Musikverdrehte im Schallfolienhandel Groove City. Im Golem ist er kein Unbekannter, doch wenn ihr ihn nicht kennt, macht es nichts — das kann man ab jetzt jeden Monat gegen den Erwerb von ein paar Getränken ändern.
