Spirit Of Goa 2015
Es gibt viele Gründe warum eine Goa Party besonders ist: Die Meute, welche auch die Besetzung eines abgedrehten Science-Fiction Streifens sein könnte. Die Dekoration, welche die Sehgewohnheiten genüsslich durcheinander bringt. Und natürlich die Musik, welche Kopf und Körper gleichermaßen auf die Reise schickt. Aber da ist noch mehr. Nämlich die Atmosphäre: Der berühmt-berüchtigte Spirit Of Goa. Genau der soll hier nach allen Regeln der Kunst herauf beschworen werden.
Freiluftvergnügung. Noch so ein Stichwort in Sachen Goa. Okay, der norddeutsche Winter ist dafür nicht gerade ideal. Aber die Spirit Of Goa hat sich trotzdem von einem sommerlichen Festival inspirieren lassen. Wie schon im letzten Jahr soll es wieder üppige Naturdeko mit jeder Menge Palmen geben. Nach oben ist alles offen, buchstäblich: Das Hamburger Docks ist nämlich für seine hohen Decken und großräumige Weitläufigkeit bekannt. Ein perfekter Abenteuerspielplatz für muntere Goanauten also – und für die 3 Deko-Teams, die sich hier nach Herzenslust austoben können. Unter anderem bastelt Illuminated Art an einem speziellen Bühnenbild für seine Projektionen. Über den Köpfen der Besucher soll ein mächtiger Laser tanzen, und auf ihren Körpern fluoreszierendes Body Painting.
Und noch ein szenetypisches Stichwort: Reisefreudigkeit. Die spiegelt sich auf der Spirit Of Goa einerseits im internationalen Spitzen-Booking wieder. Ein Blick aufs Musikprogramm spricht wohl für sich selbst... Andererseits wurden auf der letzten Party viele Gesichter aus anderen Städten und sogar dem Ausland gesichtet. Kein Wunder, denn auch das ist ein Aspekt des Spirit Of Goa: Für eine richtig gute Party ist kein Weg zu weit!

There are many aspects that make a Goa party special: The crowd that could also be the cast of some spaced-out Sci-Fi movie. The decoration that creates the most delightful confusion for the eye. The music that casts a hypnotic spell on the body and the mind. However, there's even more to the experience. It's the atmosphere: The famous Spirit Of Goa. And that's exactly what this event is all about, with all the tricks of the trade.
Open Air. Another core feature of the Goa scene. Okay, winter in North Germany is not exactly the perfect environment for open air. Nevertheless Spirit Of Goa has been inspired by a summer festival adventure. Just like last year the decoration will represent the lush green vibe of nature, involving a multitude of palms. The sky's the limit – virtually: The vast party venue known as Hamburg's Docks is popular for its high ceilings. A perfect playground for the goanauts – and for the 3 decoration teams who have been hired to turn the place into a surreal world of light and colours. For instance, Illuminated Art is building a special stage design for his trippy projections. A multicoloured laser shall dance above the party heads, and their bodies shall turn into living artworks with fluorescent body painting.
Love for travelling. Yet another factor that makes this scene special. At Spirit Of Goa it is represented through an international artist booking. An outstanding artist booking, as a glance at the lineup reveals... Also the party crowd reflects internationalism, as during the last edition quite some freaks and fraggles arrived from abroad. Again it's the Spirit Of Goa shining through: If there's a really good party, it's always worth a journey!
